Research on dual lateral log simulation of shale bedding fractures under different influencing conditions

Micro scale fractures play a crucial role in facilitating the migration of oil and gas low permeability shale reservoirs. However, identification such is complex task. The efficacy dual lateral log physical field changes as means identifying micro remains uncertain. To address this issue, three-layer bedding fracture model was developed using finite element method core conventional logging data from eight wells, which based on different reservoirs within Yanchang Formation Ordos Basin. present study examines response characteristics resulting distinct horizontal fractures, with focus mechanism. simulation siltstone combination were utilized by statistical for verification purposes. results indicate that under lithology siltstone, magnitude difference between resistivity filled formation resistivity, greater itself, wider width, apparent real resistivity.
